how summer has been so far

summer started almost two and a half weeks ago , since then I have been doing nothing but rotting in my room and being online , all I see when I go on my personal acc on instagram is my old classmates going out and hanging with their friends , meanwhile my own friends haven't been hanging out at all. I suppose some of the blame can be put on me too because I haven't been trying ask them if they want to some place with me , but it's not totally on me because what is there to even do in my town , the closest "fun" place near me is an empty field , or the park , but who wants to hang out there , the park near me only has a play area for toddlers , nothing teens could mess around on without getting stuck.

I mean I could try to find things to do by myself , i have a go-cart thats been broken in my backyard for like a year , i could attempt to fix it up and ride it around the neighborhood. Well that is if it doesn't sound like a jet engine if I manage to get it to turn on. I do have an old bike that still works if the go-cart fails be , and a skateboard , I've always wanted to learn how to ride a skateboard since I was in elementry school because it was always a cool thing , and it still is cool.

At the end of the school year I promised myself I was gonna learn at least one of the things I said I was by the end of summer. The things being :

- learn new language (unlikely)

- make a neocity website (which I'm doing rn so its probably the one going to be finished)

- learn how to skateboard (maybe in july)

- staying consistent with a hobby (wouldn't surprise me if I didn't)

With that list in mind I should plan my summer somewhat but honestly I'm not doing all of that. The last two and a half weeks have shown me nothing other than 1. I have a weak immune system , I got sick three times in two weeks 2. I can't keep a hobby for longer than a week 3. Knowing myself I would be surprised if I manage to keep up with this site.

The reason I quit my last website was because coding got to hard for me , but again that was around a year or two ago so now I have a better knowledge on code , or really anything technological in general. I also have a greater patience than I did that time ago so I know I wont be raging each time I can't figure out a line of code.
